Abstract

Six new species of the genus Nematoplana are described and the systematic position of taxa belonging to the family Nematoplanidae assessed. The four genera of the family are monophyletic, and phylogenetic relationships among them are described. For some of the species of the genus Nematoplana, sister group relationships could be ascertained.
